wow nuts! I have no idea if I'm going to see my car (any time soon) based on what you have experienced, compared to my experience.
Oh well, I guess if they can't do it, they will give me a 2023 when it comes out.

Weird thing though - I just got off the phone with Subaru of America and they are not able to find anything for my VON. Has that happened to anyone else? I was hoping they might be able to give me some more info on the status of the car but now I'm just worried, haha!

I cant say anything about your car specifically, but I have 3 customers with orders that have an ETA of "Month of May". Subaru does not give a specific date until the car has a VIN which is usually around 2-4 weeks before it arrives.

We have a WRB Limited available that someone backed out of. I'll get it out of the way upfront and say that there is a small markup, but If you missed your shot at an allocation this is a good opportunity.

Do you know when those cars were ordered? I ordered at the beginning of December and got the same too. Really hoping it gets here maybe a month or two early.

Mine also says "Month of May - 2022" ordered 12/29.

It was just really strange to me that SOA couldn't find any record of my VON, that made me kind of nervous. But I'm guessing it was just a systems issue.

How much after placing your order did you get the VON?
I placed my order on Jan 6th, and my order said "order accepted" on their computer on Jan. 13, and I STILL didn't get a VON

It's been a month. Contact the dealer and if they don't have an order number for you, I would say something's up.
