Yesterday I had a guy at the light tell ask about my BRZ and then said it is a "clean motherf'er"

Then a bit later I had a guy in a creeper van say my BRZ is "weird." Not sure if that was supposed to be a compliment or not.

At the drive thru @ Taco Bell...

I'm handing the kid the money and change, and he drops it all as he isn't even paying attention that... he is just oggling my car. He apologizes, and asks what car it is, lol.

Also, drive thru @ Dunkin... older couple walk by and their necks just turn... I hear one of them ask the other "is that a Bugatti?".

Looks like I'm a millionaire... looks like.

I get a lot of head turns! If people do comment, first is that's a nice car and then what is it! Once had a kid at the gas station mention emphatically that it was one "sick" car. Being from a previous generation I had to ask my 31 year old son if "sick" was good or not

All in all the best feeling is when you can get people to actually turn their heads and notice the car.
Hell, I catch myself in the driveway saying "That is one sharp looking car"!

There are just so many FR-S/BRZ in California - no one bats an eye. Especially when your car is pretty much stock.

I've had my car for about 4 months now. I still get a reaction like, "How do you afford an expensive car like that?!" And "How fast is it?!" :P

Though the FR-S is pretty reasonably priced, it does stand out and looks more expensive than some cars out there.

I had some guy come up to me at the petrol station asking me how I imported a GT86 to America. I just have Winjets and I rebadged. :P

Beg to differ, I live in Hollywood and random people shout "nice car" and some people stare. Had two guys in a corvette just stared at my car for a good minute and I've just owned the car for a week!

I parked in front of a hospital yesterday. While I was still in the car waiting for someone, a nurse came around, went to the back of the car to look and asked me to drop my window. I obliged and she asked me what car it was. I told her it was a Scion. She replied: " Very nice car, must've been expensive". Told her how much it was and she almost would not believe me haha.

Agreed -- everyone's indifferent.

Apart from a few genuine exotics, it doesn't take long for the novelty of any new design to wear out (viz Tesla Model S...)

Seriously though! I think the lines of the car are absolutely beautiful but to an enthusiast type, especially out here where M3's and even GTR's are plenty, I suppose it makes sense.

Did see a guy in a Ferrari look over at my car while he was turning left onto the street I was turning left from--but to be fair, I was gawking at him, too... and I've got giant red Hello Kitty head decal on my doors.
