Cruise control doesn't add any significant weight, or take anything away from a car. Honestly, it's pretty much a standard convenience and it's likely to be there. Not that I care, but it'd me a pretty huge oversight if it wasn't included.

One could note that both the Celica GT-s and MR-2 Spyder (Toyota's last 2 sports cars) both included it as standard in certain trim.

Concept 1 is the car I've been looking forward to. Concept 2? I don't think I would even go to the dealership to check it out. As far as I'm concerned they lost it going to #2.

It's not that bad. At least they didn't make it a Hyundai. No offend to Hyundai owners here.

What do you mean by this? Are you refering to the looks of the Genesis Coupe being ugly in comparison to this FT-86 2? If so that's your opinion but my opinion differs if that's the case.

Hm... I think, that's each & their own opinion for Hyundai.

I don't care for Genesis (both looks & spec), so I don't have love or hate thing w it.

I love that Hyundai brought out the Genesis cause I think thats what got Toyota to bring back a FR.

The Genesis fronts okays IMO but the taillights kill the rear for me plus I was not too impressed with the weight/power for the 2.0T

Good 1st try tho but maybe they will nail it with the up coming facelift

Gen coupe doesn't really bother me, but I would prefer Muscle cars like Stang or Camaro over Gen Coupe any day. It just doesn't appeal to me. FT-86 is what a sport car should be to me.

Mark one was more conventional for production. Mk2 bumpers are like aftermarket.
I don't like the LED fogs tho. Make it go, then it's all good.

So you would prefer a boxy muscle car body over a sleek low slung sports car shape body? The Genesis is pretty much a bigger version of a FT-86(not identical in design but the shape is similar) by a different company it's not a muscle car even though it's compared. I honestly think if the car had a different badge people would be jumping all over it.
