Sick day today.. While laying in bed I got bored and decided to install my Louvers.

One tip I would recommend.. Don't center punch. Even light punches just dent the hood.. I center punched half of them and saw what it was doing to the hood so I went with no punches and it was smooth as a baby's bottom.

I paint matched them myself in my garage the other day and think it turned out pretty good.

I've got some trimming I'll do later and need to make a few holes larger to let the vents sit flatter but for today I'm done. I'll probably paint match the raw aluminum edges of the hood too at some point.

Awesome! Was waiting to see what it would look like on Asphalt. Got any more angles?

I might have one or two more.. I'll check and post if I do. My car is filthy so I didn't take a ton of pictures but I may have a few more.

It's really neat to see so many people enjoying cutting their hoods .

I have finally sat down and created dedicated part numbers and product pages for splitting up the hood louver kits.

Currently it will be just through Velox Motorsports as it would be a lot of work for a larger company like FT-86 SpeedFactory to split up the kits.

Small Louver Kit

Large Louver Kit

Let us know if you have any questions.

Thanks,
Eric

Has anyone hit the track yet? While it's evident that these will help oil temps, I would still like to see some actual numbers.

One last thing, you really need to rename the product...
Whenever someone asks me what they are:

Otherwise, I got all my data for day to day driving if you want to see that.

I don't want to be rude but I'm looking for something similar for my downstairs toilet to allow warm air out of boxed radiator pipes.

I wouldn't choose these as they look awful.

I'm trying to be polite as possible, I really am.

Installed the vents today:

Straight forward install, no real issues at all...other than not having a matching set of drawing templates - had one small and one large. Printed my own set on thicker and stiffer paper from the large template.
