No need to wait, looks like our sale just went live. 20-30% of everything, and free domestic shipping. That's a flippin steal. And it ships immediately, we'll be here today and Friday.

Is it possible to purchase the dry filter with the intake, or do you still have to purchase it separately and lose out on some cash with the oiled one coming standard with it? or would we email you to get an order like this places being that the dry filter is so new?

I didn't see an option on the product page to select the filter type.

Thank you!

Dry Filter - ECU Reset

When changing from oiled to dry, it is necessary to reset the ECU like when I first installed the CAI?

No, its hardly a huge change at all. Swap it out, and you're good to go

I've been looking into getting this intake however I read in this thread there's a "rev. 2"
what does that mean and should I just wait for a new version of the existing one?

I believe the only revision in the "rev.2" was that it would add clearance near the adapter plate on the oil filter for people running oil coolers. Meaning that if you do not have an oil cooler or do not plan on purchasing one, then there effectively is no difference between rev.1 and rev.2.

After how long or how many miles would you recommend re-oiling the filter?

(For some reason, I thought the filter was a dry filter, and haven't re-oiled since 11/2014.)

Nah, they're not paper, they're still cotton so they are reusable items. You clean and wash them just like an oiled filter, but then you let them dry. And during that drying period, if you need to drive your car, you can just pop on the oiled filter that comes with the intake kit for the day so you don't have any down time. Pretty spiffy right?

Is there a link to where I could buy dry filters or oiled filters? Checked the website but I couldn't find anything.
