<< lazy. I say I sucked because I think I hit more cones in one event than I have in the last year of autocrossing. I kept nailing them with the inside rear tire.. maybe it's a bit wider than the Integra and I'm not accounting for that well enough Also my fastest clean run had me so far behind the course.. and lots of sliding/oversteer.. just bad driving. Here's a link to results of the event: http://drivefast.org/results/current-season/ by time and class (class shows every one, time shows best run. #10 in terms of fastest times, not bad considering most of the above are R compound guys and very well modified Miatas)

Hmm I guess I should trim the videos and upload them then eh?
<< lazy. I say I sucked because I think I hit more cones in one event than I have in the last year of autocrossing. As you can see I was NOT smooth at all and I was behind A LOT. I haven't autocrossed since November but still.. not a good showing for me. My turn around at the end always sucked too, always went too fast... anyways.. oh yeah I also forgot to turn off traction control/vsc in the first run, hence the one hand driving for awhile.. other hand holding down the stupid button lol Run 3 was my fastest clean run, someone run 2 didn't count and I wasn't told about a rerun.. too one at the very end which was the 52.x run, but no video. I just went through this thread, and now I'm wondering if the heated seats sucking is a safety thing, lowering max temperature or something. It's no secret that the NHTSA has investigated seat heaters at least a couple of times, due to people getting third degree burns. Although I thought most seat heaters cut off after they got hot.
The car looks wonderful though. Autox looks like a blast. |
