Blow up Twitter, and make this as public as possible. Send it to Jalopnik, etc.

I can't take anything @regal says as meaningful.. If you listen to him I'm on borrowed time having over 20k on my car.. I'll never ever have the DI failure is it's due to the manual and the mapping as I have a auto.. So I guess that's another plus.. But beside the ecu swap that was no questions asked, I don't have a problem with my car.. Sometimes when it's hot at the track, I might hear the chirps, or when I go to park the car I'll get a CEL for the cam position or something, but it clears it's self before the next session.. Why do you even have your car @regal, you obviously don't like it, why haven't you got rid of it??? Save you... And us a headache

Oh wait from what I can see you haven't had a problem with your car yet lol

We just saw another few cars suffer the DI failure last night... they're on this board.

It doesn't have to be during shifting, it can also be during fast on-off-on throttle situations (such as ones used when trying to induce oversteer.)

Precisely my thought; the track I was at this weekend doesn't exactly involve a lot of shifts.

Typical "lots of shifting for best time lap":
4->3->2->3->2->3->4->3->2->3->4

Lazier lap:

4->3->4->3->4 (I can get within a 4 tenths of a "all out" lap doing this)

I'm pretty sure revmatched downshifts also fall dependent onto the transient timing table...

I'm at the top of 4th and hard on the brakes at the 120 meter marker before the corner (on a crest, dropping down to the corner)

There's alot going on, so I don't know the exact revs. I scrub a decent amount of speed before downshifting, however I don't discount possible overevvs. (Though I don't think I did)

I just happened to catch the CEL turn on at that point during the one session.

5 mode driver selectable? Is this BRZ specific? I can't find anything about this in my scion manual.

I don't think they would advertise that as a user selectable option....since they never told us how to engage it (pedal dance)
