Was getting gas on my way home from San Jose when this old guy in an early '90s F-250 pulled up to the adjacent pump.
He shouted my way so I looked over, and he just asked what kind of car it was. He thought it was a Mazda. When I told him it was a Scion, and there's a Subaru twin, he looked real surprised and said "well that looks like a lot of fun".

I've noticed people walking by my car slow down a little to stare at it, but so far that's the only person that's actually said something to me directly about it.

Drove behind a brand new (temp tags) Maserati GranTurismo Coupe tonight. As I went to pass him in the left lane, the guy looks at my car and we both give each other a thumbs up.. Had to come home and look up the Maserati.. About a $130K car.. Pretty sharp looking..

I wish I had more reactions like you guys.

All I've been getting is, "Wow is that the FRS?"
"That looks like an FRS."
"It looks the same as the FRS?"

Even when it was stock it garnered a lot of attention but after modding it took it to another level. People taking pictures while driving, speeding up to catch up to me in traffic, flagging me down even on the highway at 70+mph. One of these days someone's going to get into an accident.

My favorite moment is taking it to the valet at the casino downtown new orleans. they always park it right in front of the entrance and sometimes next to lambos and rolls royces and GTRs lol. Coming out at 4am to see a group of people taking pics is priceless. Even more so when I go start it up in front of a group of drunk women

I live in Bro truck land...if you don't know what I mean ask someone west of Ohio.

I still get looks including pictures of it while driving on the freeway.

Had a nice conversation with a 335 xi owner and kids tend to rubber neck.

Had an SUV drive passed me at a red light, back up 5 cars and give me a thumbs up. Hilarious.
