Actually made the trip to belgium only to taste this in person

It will knock you off your socks and is probably one of the best beers I have ever had.

Brought some back and now down to the last bottle which I will save for when I buy a new house.

As a Belgian I aprove this post

. Also you can try Westmalle, Chimay, Rochfort and some other Trappists. We have 6 Trappists here in Belgium

For the welcoming in of Summer, I bought a 30 rack of Corona Extra and some limes. Something about yak-piss beer with lime wedge mixed with hot weather always hits the spot... Wouldn't be caught dead drinking it in the winter though.

When you just need a quick cold one (voted #1 beer in US several years ago)

Have 3 upcoming trips to the NE in the next month and hope to hit Yuengling Brewery on one of them.

My latest summer brew. Very smooth and drinkable. On par with Coors Light as best comparison.

Big fan of this soda.

Not really a huge IPA fan and I refuse to drink stouts in the summer. Can't wait until Fall when I can start drinking all those pumpkin ales.

This is my current favorite among local (Austin) breweries:

It is just an excellent amber ale, well balanced and not too hoppy, and the price is right: about 8.50 a six pack. The draft version is to die for.

I have to do a shout-out for Terrapin Brewery in Athens, GA. My daughter in law is the office manager/CFO. My son thinks that it's the coolest job that it is possible to have.
