I have been for a while but without any real organized events in the area It's never gone further then curiosity. I will be doing the ascc autocross events this year but I wish we had something similar for drift.

With enough interest, it could become a thing around here.

I mean even a practice day at scotia speed world, perhaps in the future AMP. There was talk of it before, but i have no idea the condition of the track these days.

It's one of those situations where, without the event it would be hard to build interest, and without interest it's hard to create the event. With the help of AMP or ASCC it should be possible.

I for one would be willing to lend a hand.

It starts by reaching out to anyone interested in drifting. If they have a car or not, no matter. Establish a group of people in the old fashioned coffee meets. eventually people will begin responding, as well as advertising.

Old sites like LowMotion are toast these days, so a local forum for enthusiasts is limited it seems.

Excellent! There are 3 of us that go regularly now, with Deadspool and you that would make 5 Drift can be done if a group of ppl put enough work into it.

I have to ask, where are you guys buying parts from? It seems like there's little to know real shops for tuners or performance parts in NS. There's online obviously but all the good shops are American and want to ship UPS/Fedex (yeah right). Image in motion is impossible to navigate, same goes for JRP, Tdot doesnt carry many brands, and NVauto's prices seem insane (400 bucks for eibach sportlines? trololol)

It's been a nightmare trying to find even the simplest parts for reasonable price.

Some decent lugs, GReddy sp elite exhaust? Ill get my eibach pro kit from Tdot most likely, 270 with free shipping is decent.

Historically I got 99% of all my stuff out of the states, almost exclusively due to cost.
I just made sure they shipped it USPS and very rarely end up with import charges.

Many of these canadian vendors do give you an "all in" price, but it just just too high most of the time with the exception of a few items. (Wheels seem to be well priced) I did talk to Stav at JRP recently and that seems like a good route. Their listed prices in their Canadian catalog seem high-ish, but I recommend you give them a call.

I've delt with Stav at JRP in the past, Outstanding service. Also a really low price for my Eibach sportlines.
