Just to add on to the gas mileage rating- 23mpg is with A LOT of spirited driving. I was guessing the first tank was going to be rated like 17-20mpg, but I was surprised. I have a second tank to be completed in the next couple of days, which will show a true representation of mixed daily driving with this kit. I'm going to guess 25-27mpg.

@FullBlown I saw in another thread that larger injectors and an upgraded MAP sensor is necessary for an e85 tune. Can you confirm this? If so, can you send me a quote on the parts?

So the car runs well as a daily driver? All the more reason... I like the idea of a good daily driver, although my car is more of a weekend car. The turbo would only put in boost when you ask for it though, right? What type of boost or spool or whatever the lingo is, does it put out for stop light to stop light driving. Not racing, like actual driving/scooting around town. Running errands and what not...

Boost starts at about 3-3200rpm, full boost at about 4,000rpm. If you ever ask for it, it comes on pretty quick. I have no complaints of lag or anything related to it. The boost comes in when I want it.

I drove 100miles last night to and from a casino, and set the cruise control to 65mph and the car didn't use any boost and maintained 25-35mpg throughout the whole trip (according to instant mpg gauge). Of course, I know this isn't 100% accurate, so I will be posting a calculated mpg once this tank is completed.

As a daily driver, this car is actually fine. It adds a lot of enjoyment to my driving experience- it provides a virtually sinless adrenaline rush. The sound with my Perrin non-resonated catback is very driveable- no drone and not too loud. The only gripe about my car right now is actually not related to the turbo kit. The ACT 6 Puck clutch w/ the 10.5lb flywheel (stock is 20+lbs) really makes me hate coming to stop. It's like learning how to drive stick again (which I've done since I was 15, I'm 23 now). But I've gotten used to it.

In summary, the Full Blown Stage 1 kit DOES NOT interfere with the driveablility of this car. If I had to daily drive this car, I wouldn't have an issue (maybe if it snowed, I'd think about borrowing my GF's Corolla). The aftermarket clutch would be the ONLY factor affecting driveability.

I have the same gripe. I did not expect the ACT 6 puck sprung disc to be this "in or out" when driving. You definitely have to give special attention to it everytime you have to launch in first gear. The only positive is that I know the clutch won't slip at any power level I decide to upgrade to.

Any puck clutch combined with Light Flywheel will suck on the street. Most guys can get away with a sprung organic disk. This will help it stop chattering and make it easier on the drive train.

The Heavier Flywheel will help with upshifts and start and stops. If you not a road racer a lighten flywheel is not really a good plan. You can buy the organic disk separate for a 100 bucks if you want to go that route.

I have ridden in this car and can vouch, the turbo lag is minimal. I was very impressed. Great job by @Pure Automotive on the install.

Good power still decent fuel economy and a great price I don't see anyone competing with them at this level so far

Thank God I upgraded my clutch...
