Well, if that's all, then i want to conclude with...

This thread was a success!! We managed to organize all the links and all the people into an IRC Channel and we enjoyed ourselves, even though the show was really pretty shitty.

Next time an event like this comes around (NAIAS?), I'll be more than happy to set all this up again with the help of all the good people here!

So far I have to say I have been disappointed with both Subaru and Toyota press conferences... I don't think we learned anything at all. It was really just an opportunity for the execs to show their faces for a few minutes to remind people who is running the company.

I am used to Apple press events (the only other ones I care enough about to watch) where everything is presented at once... but in this case the only remaining detail is price, and apparently they aren't ready to announce that yet. So much for all of my waiting!

edit: big thanks to those who got all of the links and whotnot organized, just too bad there wasn't anything amazing to announce!
