I live in Scotland where it rains and snows. Used to own a Bmw and it was a nightmare in the snow. My neighbours own M3's RX8's etc and have to leave them on their drives in the winter. Still i'd live with RWD for a car that looks as awesome as the GT 86 and i'll use my wives Toyota Rav4 in the winter.

My routine is to wax the car as late as possible in late Fall,
then $3 do-it-yourself power wash sprays every other weekend & squeegy windows.
This easily keeps a SILVER car looking clean...
But when I finally put soap & sponge to it again mid March its a WHOLE NEW CAR!
WHITE would show the grease picked up off the road far easier : (

I wouldn't call it their "cheap range"

Quote:
Scion is a brand of vehicles produced by Toyota Motor Corporation for the North American market. Founded in 2002, Scion's long-term goal is to appeal to Generation Y consumers. The first Scion models, the xA hatchback and xB wagon, went on sale in California in 2003,[1] followed by a sports coupe, the tC, and a nationwide U.S. launch in 2004.[1] A successor to the xA, the xD,[2] premiered in 2008, and the Scion marque expanded to Canada in 2010.[3] The Scion lineup uses a one-trim, simplified purchase process,[2] and the marque has relied upon guerrilla and viral marketing techniques. The Scion name, meaning the descendant of a family or heir, refers both to the brand's cars and their owners.[1]

Do you guys in the States have the Peugeot RCZ for sale over their? If you like the GT 86 i'm sure you'll agree the RCZ is a great looking car.

Its a great looking car. It has a Zagato style roof and double bubble rear window. The 200 hp GT in feline spec is the best looking.

So am I right in thinking that there's gonna be 3 versions of this car?? The Scion FR S, Toyota GT 86 and Subaru BRZ?? Although the UK will only see the 86 and the BRZ. Whats the difference between the FR-S and the 86 in the States and Canada??

You are correct partly..

Toyota will have the car as an FR-S in the US GT86 oversease and Subaru will have the BRZ around.

There are subtle differences (nothing set in stone for packages though) lots of info on the forums about it

The ony confirmed diffrences are the badges. Everything else is still up in the air.

The good thing is that the cars will perform the same no matter which trim/model you pick, at least for now.
