Swung by Puente Hills Subaru yesterday and put my deposit in. Frank is an awesome guy. Super friendly and seems to give it to you straight and honest. He asked me to write "VOID" on the $500 deposit check I handed him as he won't actually cash the check -- just holding on to it.

He asked me what trim I wanted, but I only indicated that I want it in blue. I told him I want to wait until final pricing, features, and options become available before I can commit to a specific model. He was totally cool with that.

Thanks Momo for setting this up!

I think I'm in for the limited. Let me know whats going on.

Depends on if Scion comes with a High trim. I'd have to visit their service department, though. I'm scared of service scams =D.

- Ugh the VIP program requires you have membership for over 6 months before we can use it =/. ?

I'm pretty sure I'd buy right off the bat. Depends if I get a BrZ model to go with it. =D! atm i'm 90-95% sure. But if you want me to be 100% sure, I'd need to have all the details. Like which location, and whats in the deal. =)

You don't have to buy it right off the bat. There's a link I posted that you just pay $20 for a year.

Keep up with this thread as I update it whenever I get more info. If you have questions that haven't been answered I can attempt to answer. Lol Other than that.. the first post of this thread has the latest update. :>

Lol I think the major thing that's really needed is the US trims and the price point -_-; Sigh... come on ... January? No idea, but hmmm I wonder if an extended warranty would be a good idea for a first model car? Wonder if the dealer would consider that a freebie or will most people here just tear into it?

^This...
I followed the link and already became a member for $20 bucks,
so by June of 2012 I can send them an email so they can get all
the paper work done ... hopefully I can drive off a Subaru BRZ sometime
June / July 2012.
