Good way to push your junk..call people names. Your intelligence shines..

Lets put it in simple terms so people that haven't had first hand experience with Seibon carbon parts understand what they're buying.

Does the Seibon hood weigh less than the factory hood? No. The factory hood is lighter.

Do Seibon trunks weigh less than factory? No. The factory trunk is lighter.

Does the Seibon hood/trunk fit as well as my factory parts? No. There are gaps that can't be adjusted as well as high spots and low spots.

The whole point of buying carbon parts is to save weight. If it doesn't save weight then it doesn't make sense.

These above statements are facts, not opinions. If you just want the "carbon look" and don't care about the weight or fit and finish then by all means, buy these parts. People should know the truth though before spending their hard earned money.

You guys can now proceed with the name calling and flaming me but I hope I at least informed a few people that actually care about the above facts.

And what do I have to gain by informing you about my personal experiences with Seibon parts? They literally begged me to put them on one of my SEMA builds and I tried all of the parts they made for the car with terrible results. I've installed them for customers as well and I haven't found a single application where they fit as well as factory or weigh less than factory. So before you guys call names (because that's all you seem to be able to do) you should spend some time in a real shop with REAL quality carbon parts. Ignorant people...

I googled your name and I didnt see anything...went to image's and they showed me lady gaga and some other paintings...but I understand if you had a bad time with SEIBON...and I'm sorry if your having problems with them and there products. (sounds more like a personal problem to me) Also if you type my real name you'll see my last builds too, I've been in commericals, movies and magazines etc.

As for this "I know all about Seibon and their SHIT parts. Go ahead, weigh them. What weighs more the Seibon junk or the factory parts? Hmmm...I know the answer. So if you want a heavier trunk and heavier hood that fits really bad then go ahead and waste your money"

who cares! let people spend there money! if they like the parts and the way they look! thats all it matters, let people enjoy what they see...I'm serious bro, if you have a problem with certian companies then make a thread..but please dont come to my thread and "troll"..... I'm saying this in the nicest way possible...I apologize if I named called you..but if you want to be the better man please show your anger some where else..

You probably googled "chadstyle" but if you would like to PM me for my name so you can see the builds I've been involved with I'd be happy to share.

I'm not here to thread jack you and I've complimented your car on multiple occasions. I just think that no matter what you should call a spade a spade. If my above statements about Seibon parts aren't true then prove me wrong. Weigh the parts. Take some close ups of all the seams. People are asking you about these pasts because they're interested in buying them for their own cars. Provide them with accurate information so they can make an educated purchase. I personally have had many offers for sponsorships and free parts and I turn down far more than I accept for the sole fact that I want to stand behind the product I endorse.

Exactly, can't argue with facts. Enjoy your car, its beautiful. It would look nicer with the factory hood and save a few pounds too.
