Well, since I'm on a roll posting....
Next week will be the first time taking the car to the track and one of the concerns is that the car is too loud. It was straight piped except for the resonator on the stock mid-pipe, and a Berk dual exit muffler delete. I measured the decibel level in the car at 113 db! This is unhealthy and I had to wear noise cancelling headphones to drive the car for extended periods, it sounded good though but it didn't quite match the performance level haha. So a friend of mine had a left over Borla exhaust system from his Mini Cooper that he said I could cut up so that I would pass tech for the track. So here Is what I started with. I used the flex pipe from the pipe with the cat to connect a FRS mid-pipe that I had cut right where at the end of the subframe. Then connected the muffler to the mid-pipe by welding the flex tube to each. Made some exhaust hangers under the bumper and then cut the tips to be as close to the the muffler body as possible. Still needs a little tweaking, but I think it works...and is a TON quiter, but still sounds good. Here is a clip of the car before I welded everything up. Muffler exhaust video

That exhaust is pretty sweet. I am looking for a light weight catback that keeps the volume down over the winter. They are hard to find without breaking the bank tho. I may steal a little of your idea here.

wow the 86 side fender garnish totally transformed the look of your car. It looks so much nicer than the 13-16 FR-S garnish.

Yeah, I never really liked the FRS garnish but I wasn't expecting such a difference.

Congrats on the FI. Looks like I will be joining the dark side with a slightly used supercharger somewhat soon as well.

It isn't set in stone yet, but a friend is selling his Edelbrock kit for a great price. Its only been used for about 2000 track miles. However, I have a TON of other projects going on right now that I budgeted for (splitter redesign, vinyl wrap, rebuild/powder coat calipers, new wheels, ect) so if I go down this road I may be sacrificing some of my track budget to do so. But I think it will be worth it.

Hey. I saw that last pic you posted above and wanted to mention that you need that piece of foam that was on top of the factory radiator for efficient cooling. I bought some foam and made my own when I switched my rad.

I've done a ton of work to the car as far as aero. Nine lives wing, and Marsh Composites front splitter. Also working on my own rear diffuser.
Also my supercharger died about 3 weeks ago, so trying to get that back. that was a sad day!
