Yeah i took it when i went boarding last winter season and it was alright quality, i didnt mind that much just cause i wanted to get some footage of my tearing the slopes up and i had the chest mount and the head mount as well and found the chest mount was much better but cant really use that in this situation due to it looking straight at the steering wheel. We will see. I know the Cam has video also and ill try to bring her fish lens = ). But alright i will let her know Mook = ). I like the fact she will be driving also!

I'd go, but going to end up pulling OT that evening, so going to be sleeping during the day.

Shit! So, just not sure if I should go, but it almost seems like a great place to take the group BEFORE heading to sedona, maybe makes for a great option to shoot some video shoot some pics and drive your car?
Last minute yes, but way cool? perhaps .. I dont want to cancel our event, but, I was considering going...K....if I do go, you would have to take the pit stop at my house out, but I REALLY want to meet you all, and I've commited so I am not gonna leave you all hanging. Torn. Not gonna cancel our party, but if there is a way to accomodate both that would be cool.. was gonna send PMs to the folks who are confirmed and see if they wanna attend but then decided to post there for feedback: Come- drive!!!Or watch? Any FRS or BRZ can come. By the time you all leave jeffs house it will be like 9:30, maybe even 10am I dont know how soon we one can run the course and be done, but maybe delay the ride up to sedona by taking the group there, and I should be on the course by 9 or 10 am, if I get to registration early... be done by 11am, which is probably just right.. or noon on the later side? We'd end up taking 17North from firebird. What do you think? I went to the 'first drive' event and drove their trd suspension frs at their 'autox track' but it was a bit rushed. Whjat are your thoughts? see below: gem SCCA Fall Series Event #1, September 16th, 2012 Autocross Event Details Event Name: Fall Series Event #1 Location: Firebird International Raceway[map] Registration Fee SCCA Members: $20 Pre-Registration, $30 at Event (click here to register) Registration Fee Non-Members: $30 Pre-Registration, $35 at Event (click here to register)* Time-Only Runs: $15 (you must participate in competition runs to do time-only runs) * Non-member fees include Weekend Membership Course map: Coming Soon Event Times 6:30AM Gates Open 7:00AM - 8:30AM Registration 7:00AM - 8:35AM Tech Inspection 8:35AM Course closed for walking 8:45AM Driver's Meeting (Required) 9:00AM First car in Run Group A starts typically 60 minutes Run Group A typically 60 minutes Run Group B typically 60 minutes Run Group C typically 60 minutes Run Group D typically 60 minutes Run Group E typically 60 minutes Run Group F 4:00 PM Course teardown NOTICE: Run/work posting below is completely unofficial, and is set up for 4 run groups and 2 time only run groups. Don't worry if you can't make this weekend's autocross at Firebird, it's the first in the Fall series, there's one a month until December! (Plus an extra two-day event in October, see: http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=15469)
Here's the link for the Firebird series: http://www.azsolo.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=12082 Also, if you decide to go, it would be best to make it an all day experience, as you work the course as well as driving (so run group A, for example, drives 9-10 and works 11-12). Plus you'll want to hang out with all the awesome people there for the whole day anyways! |
