First pic makes it look a little green/gold/grey.

Think you need a darker shade to achieve the effect you are after

@Hawk77FT - finally got around to re-doing my steering wheel trim with the 3M Di-noc vinyl and 3M WP3000 primer - all I can say is brilliant stuff, so much so that I am buying some more to re-do all my other trim pieces again. The primer stuff certainly adds a lot of sticking power to the vinyl and worth the $25 that I spent on it.
Here's a pic of the finished product:

Thanks for the compliments.

The emblems are actually sprayed with Smoke Plastidip, just poor lighting.
This is the rear emblem that I re-did. Looks more like the silver on my number plate (plate is reflecting flash in this pic though)

Your interior CF looks shits loads better than the other guy selling his interior kit for almost $3K ! Even the $1K tail-lights were rich. Why would anyone pay so much coin for non factory plastic that looks shit imo ?

Logos look fine, better than chrome I reckon !

WOW, this looks good indeed. Where did you buy the 3M primer from? I like the dry carbon fibre look but I am wondering how is going to look with one or two layers of clear. I will experiment at home on a piece of plastic. I did one retrimiming with real carbon fibre with clear resin and it looked great but that was A LOT of work. the level of shine was just unbelievable. But this is looking much much better. I know Lexus engine tops have dry CF with a bit of shine over the top.
Good job mate.
P.S. Shave them legs JK!

I got the primer off Ebay, couldn't find any Aussie sellers so got mine from the UK, just search 3M WP3000, there's loads of it on there and no problems with it getting through customs etc.
Not sure how the clear coat would work, I presume you'd have to do it after doing the wrap or risk it cracking when you heat and stretch it.
Give it a go though and let us see the results.
It would be nice to get real CF for all of the pieces but I wait hate to think of the cost, I certainly know it's not something I'd like to try cause I know I'd fuck it up.

To be honest, the cost of CF is not that high, really. The amount of work involved is high though...you will have to have A LOT of patience. It is easy to work with CF but the resin application (few layers) makes it hard.
