This isnt smart to drive without snow tires, but there are many cities with tons of people seeing this as an advantage than getting snow tires. Although i believe everyone should have them, not everyone need them in milder snow climate cities if you have a FWD car.
Snows are about more than just being able to get traction to start moving they are also about not sliding sideways and stopping. Doesn't matter what wheels drive the car if you have the brakes on or randomly start to slide. The only advantage FWD is that traction to start moving in the first place. Once moving then all becomes even.

It's all about siping and proper compounds- that is the advantage of proper snows.

Well you should not be either sipping nor doing "compounds" while driving either type car!

Tips:
Practice. Practice. Practice.
Don't be afraid of screwing up. The transmission in not made of glass and you really REALLY have to screw up to hurt it.
If you stal in traffic just take your time restarting and getting going. The people behind you may get bitchy but they will get over it. Don't get flustered and panicky.
Once you think you have it then practice some more because if you are still thinking about it you are not quite there yet.
Beware of people telling you how to drive MT. Many tips they give will be advanced techniques that can wait until you are comfortable driving normally.
Did I mention to practice?

How many tries did it take to frame one so perfectly? Or was it a lucky shot?

Actually the angle makes him look like a giant. Or he has the shortest twin ever.

There are many aspects of that shot that together make it brilliant, IMO.

I agree. Photo of the month fodder. The car still looks tiny though.
