2017 BRZ wait time

It's honestly a bit useless telling each other different time estimates.

Reason I say that is back when the PP was a new thing early this year, I ordered mine about 3 days or a week earlier than somebody else on the forums, exact same setup and color, and they got theirs over a month before me.

Each individual has to work with their local dealer. Subaru has not followed their "normal" pattern at all with these cars.

Also ordered a special edition what colour did you get? Mine is OCT delivery.

I got the crystal white pearl with black accents and performance pack. Love that the badges on the back are black as well.

Awesome I ordered Dark Metallic Grey, white was my second choice.
Can't wait to pick mine up! What did you negotiate? Ive already seen a white one with sports pack on Kings Way they look great.

The dark grey is very nice. I love the darker colours. I would have loved a black actually, but I got into a fairly bad accident once in a black car (I was stationary and a drunk woman slammed into me) and it's kind of put me off harder to see colours. I'm sure it had a lot more to do with the alcohol than the colour, but your perspective tends to change a bit and you become a little more paranoid after that.

I managed to get them down to around $38,000. Has the leather/alcantara, and a tint and paint protection.

Actually when I picked it up this morning they offered me another 3 years manufacturer warranty (6 total) for around $1100 as well and I grabbed that. So just over $39k.

Very nice, I got a similar deal going to get the paint protection done elsewhere, undecided about tint. Ill have to ask about the manufacturers warranty.

Yeah I was undecided on the tint, but helps to keep the car cooler in summer, and along with the black accents it just made sense. I figure these bits and pieces should keep the resale value up a little should I decide to sell it down the line. Same with the extra warranty.

Update on my order! My 2017 BRZ limited w/performance package came in today July 29 will be taking delivery 31st!!! Ordered way back on 4/20.

Haha yeah series panda is right. Even the side indicators near the wheel arch are white. I thought I'd have to change those. Perhaps Australia gets the JDM indicators etc by default, and US has some regulation that means they are changed to orange?

We don't have the PP as an option in Australia. They came out with a special edition 100 manuals and 50 autos 4 different colours with the PP and a black pack.

Ahh I see. I kind of assumed the performance pack was the same as what Australia were calling the sports pack. Which I guess it kind of is, except for the black accents.
