Wow! Sorry man! Wasn't intending to offend anyone here! Was checking with HKS dealer here and he also didn't have a clue about time and cost, but he did offer an exhaust though

P.s. take it easy, it's an open source forum

Hi Dave, any ideas on what is included in the kit to achive 250? are we talking exhaust as well?

From what I can see the power curve looks good!

Yeah the power curve is excellent that is the beauty of the HKS centrifugal supercharger, the individual components of the kit are still unknown however i believe the flash tune software will be released at the same time as to get the most of the set up.

Having scanned through the first 4 pages of the Engine,ECU, etc thread I no longer find mention of the HKS supercharger kit. Has it now dropped off the radar, with all the testing etc that has gone on it should be already selling - anyone know what has occurred that its still not for sale yet?

It's still all ok and on track. HKS have spent months with testing and actual R&D not just throwing something out in the market place and see how it goes. It takes time to have all the pipework cast and kit's finished, ready for sale. Not to mention the work going into the Flash Tuner.....
Cheers

He just told you why there is no set date. It'll be on sale when its ready.

Numbers in Australia would be so low anyway. 10 in the first year maybe?

You might be surprised. For me it will be all about price, $5k and I wouldn't think twice, $7.5 think very carefully about alternatives, $10k no thanks.

Especially since there will be local alternatives with a quoted street price already.

$5K would sell it even during warranty period for me but as nix says, above that........

my guess is that it's gonna be more than that, coz HKS always offer tuning solutions involving HKS ECUs such as the FCON. And that would easily add another $2000.

The 350z HKS SC kit was offered at $7k then

p.s. prices in above post was given in USD
