The code is probably 1111 or 1234, and a lot of BT will automatically try those without prompting.

I mean I changed the code on the Headunit from 0000 to xxxx, but regardless the HTC One never prompts for a code.

Oh.. well, the code is just to pair. Once it's paired you can connect without the code.

But I'm never asked for the code to pair either. That's my point, this could be why I keep getting disconnected, or maybe not, idk

Do you have the Bluetooth list of devices up on your phone when the HU is trying to pair?

Some phones also have a discovery mode that needs to be turned on.

My Hands Free Voice Command feature stopped working 4-5 days ago

Hoping there's an easy fix for this mentioned in the manual.

When does it work? I never get traffic warnings in Greater Baltimore or Toledo and none whatsoever on the entire freeway/turnpike trip to and from those two cities. Due to this fact, I won't be subscribing to satellite radio + traffic. It's a waste of money.

"RDS-TMC is a low-bandwidth system, with each RDS-TMC message comprising 37 data bits sent at most 1–3 times per second, using a basic data channel primarily designed for FM radio tuning and station name identification."

That doesn't mean it works. Unless you're in LA where traffic is heavily monitored, I have yet to see mine work reliably on the east coast. Many times I'll get a traffic alert when there is no traffic. When there is a massive traffic jam, no alert... Considering I have all of the alerts enabled in settings, I think the traffic 'feature' is BS.

Oh, and the Route 200 toll road north of DC isn't even on the map. Makes me wonder if we're running 2010 maps because it's been there since at least 2011.

If you're getting traffic alerts I think that pretty much proves it "works." If you aren't getting good ones that's low quality data. Mine works about as well as you could expect in Iowa. That is to say it knows where most road construction is and that's about it.
