This was similar to the coworker at my night job I had to deal with. She complained about everything. She was working at fye in 2 different stores(around Xmas time more hours) and I did the same, as well as my morning job. yet she would complain about working? And driving? I made a few joking comments - obviously to annoy her, it worked and things got out of hand. I decided it'dbe best to delete her on fb haven't had to really speakto her since lol she's a lazy piece of shit. She got to go to college for free and is too lazy to find a job in her field instead she'd rather work min wage. It's pathetic who would settle for a job that only give you 8 hrs a week? (boss hates her and gives her no hours)
ugh people who have 0 motivation in life and pretend that they actually work hard when they don't piss me off.

It depends on the type of person, age, if you are helping them out.
If they are mature and need help sure.
But if they just want a buddy to room with than probably not.

So my new employer got me to accept his job offer two and a half months ago with the promise of starting me off at a certain salary and paying more once I adjusted to their shop management software. Two and a half months later he says he's just going to keep me where I am till they finish setting up my new position which he gave me no ETA on.

Thinking I should nip this in the butt and find another job before I have to deal with years of being strung along. Opinions?

Only if her name was Marcia Brady and I can change mine to Greg. Maurine McCormick or Christine Taylor, I'm not picky.

Beyond that, it would depend on the situation. I would never turn a family member in need of basic shelter away, but there would have to be a plan, particularly since all my siblings would come with families!

If we were all single then probably but there would have to be a lot of ground rules, just like with any roommate situation. I'm not quite asking for a "Sheldon Cooper Roommate Agreement" but everyone needs to know where everyone stands.

I say start interviewing. Once something worthwhile comes along, firmly request a resolution to the problem. If they still want to play the game, then leave.

I stuck around a job for a full year getting paid well below the position. I told the CFO to either pay me a fair wage for the work they want, or I'd leave. He thought I was bluffing (found this out after the fact as I have friends in high places there), and was pretty shocked when I had an offer on the table just 2 weeks later for 20K more. I left. Now they are outsourcing my job for considerably more than I would have been paid. I've heard it's quite frustrating for them.

Point of the story is that companies are generally cheap. Nothing is guaranteed unless it's in writing (and that's only guaranteed because it would cost them more not to adhere to it). Just be professional and ethical about everything and you'll end up just fine.

Aside from that, been playing lumines again(the first one, on psp). For some reason I like this song from it...not at all like what I've been listening to lately. My gf seemed to like it a lot and looked on amazon for the CD...jesus people are crazy for singles.

anyway, good luck with the rest of the week guys. Don't murder any coworkers.

Agh, Spring in Atlanta. Poor Olivia has obtained a new clear coat of Alien Green Pearl from the annual pollen deluge here.

I've decided to dub the new color PollenStorm and go with it for now.
