Now that of had a day and a half with the car I've noticed the problem your friend is talking about. Starting the car "easy" from a stop it's a lot harder to do smoothly. I'm also using this with an automatic transmission so I don't have clutch I can modulate.

The other thing that I've noticed over the past couple days is that I hear the sound of the exhaust rattling against the subframe. I believe I need to explore upgraded motor mounts. Straight-line driving or making left hand turns under hard acceleration and I can feel the exhaust vibrating against the subframe. What are turn right the sound/sensation goes away.

Thanks for clearing up the mystery of the cooling line on the throttle body. As for the jug of Subaru super coolant I purchased at the dealer; yes, it is a 50-50 mix.

Do you think the initial "lag" is something that can be tuned out? Or is it an inherent quirk of running a turbo?

Is it the overpipe that is touching the subframe? What size OP are you using?

I'm not sure of the root cause. I need to start logging and then send the logs to @sales@delicioustuning.com to get their opinion.

Probably, I haven't been under the car yet to confirm. I'm using the Milltek 2.5inch overpipe

A 2.5" overpipe shouldn't rattle if it's installed correctly. Unfortunately, you did what I did and installed everything at once (exhaust, turbo kit, etc) so it's hard to troubleshoot individual issues.

I would also take a look at your catback to make sure that it's not hitting the diff.

We were very careful when we installed everything so I would hope it wasn't a mistake. Simply put it's an exhaust and it's hard to screw that up. This may be a fitment issue between AVO and Milltek components. I did install everything at once and I do think I'm clearing the diff in back.

Not exactly sure how to fix this without taking the turbo off and mounting the stock header to see if the problem is the exhaust or not. Any suggestions would be welcome.

One thing I noticed was how much larger the turbo's down pipe was from the Milltek exhaust (3" vs 2.5"). There's

You have the 3" downpipe from AVO?

It seemed like it. it was bigger then the 2.5" (63.5mm) of the milltek system. The AVO downpipe had slot shaped holes so the smaller exhaust fit onto the smaller downpipe and the gasket sealed but man that was difficult. I split my knuckle open tightening those bolts.

If you have a 3" downpipe then no other overpipe except AVO's will work. They change the routing with the 3" setup and sell the Downpipe/Overpipe/Frontpipe as a combo.

I think the stock 2.5" is just a slotted flange, and I agree that it was a giant pain in the ass.

Do you mean all their kits (whether 2.5" or 3" dump pipe) come with slotted flanges as well?

Here's a shot of my 3" setup

The downpipe is a 90 degree turn and straight, whereas the 2.5" one has a bit of a wiggle to it
