@blunova You shoulda came!!! It turned out to be a free track day @ no charge for us because of the wet. I left around noon time TEWwild and AteMyShorts stayed...they might still be out there!!! It was slick but, made it fun and exciting. I never did lose it pushing the limits. Came close but, kept it under control. Course, I wasn't pushing limits as hard as TEWwild was. I rode with Tim a few laps and we had an interesting 360 degree tour of the So. Texas horizon before trimming up some weeds sideways off the edge of track. All was well though! Definitely got our money's worth from making the drive up today. Bo says we need to schedule another group day (a dry one) so we can all do the "official" mini class together.

It was awesome. Left around 1:30. I ended up with three spin outs. Never made it to the weeds though. It was a crazy good time. Sorry @bluenova didn't make it.

The guys at Harris Hill were awesome. Thanks. We will be back.

No freakin' WAY!!! It was FREE?? I can't believe that! Grrr!!! I was actually in my car headed toward San Marcos this morning and it was just pouring down rain and I was like "screw this... I don't want to pay all this money and have to have my wipers on the entire time!" I can't believe it ended up being free! I totally would have gone if I didn't have to pay, haha!!! That's what I get for wussing out...


But the GOOD NEWS is that y'all didn't have to use your vouchers, so we have to come up with a day that we can all go down there together and take the official class, then! I was sad thinking that I'd have to do it by myself since I didn't go today, but at least y'all got a free day and we all get to go again as a group!! Glad y'all had a blast!!

You're definitely welcome, I had a great time as well. I do have a tendency to push past the limits on occasion, glad it didn't turn out too bad. Digging through the dashcam footage to find some of the fun, our 360 degree tour is uploading now, will get a couple more clips up in a bit...

Just a reminder...anyone in the SATX area that wants to plan an FR-S / BRZ meet (or share info about one spotted on facebook) can post up on this thread to let others know. There's a whole lotta new 86 owners in our area excited about their new vehicles so, you guys feel free to organize an evening meet sometime, somewhere to get to know each other, talk about mods, etc. And....Welcome to the SATX ft86club owners group!!!! This is your thread, too! Some of us who have had our cars for awhile would be glad to attend a meet-up with ya'll newbys for sure.

This Saturday, May 10, is the 2nd Sat. of the month and at 8am in front of Lowes at I-10 at the Rim (1803 Rim Dr., Exit 554) is the Cars & Coffee Spurs event. The "Twins" typically have a good turn-out at C&C but, its been awhile since I've seen us have over a dozen 86 cars parked up together. I missed last months meet but, plan on going this Saturday. I assume the organizers want us to show our SPURS spirit for the Portland game @ 9:30 PM that evening! And...I want to see some more FR-S / BRZ spirt!!!!

Anybody else planning on attending C&C this weekend??? If we get a good size group together we can meet early in the front right corner of the Palladium Theater parking lot @ 7:45 and then roll in to Lowes as a ft86 group to park together @ 8:00!

Shall we start a List? (Don't make me buy a Mustang!!!)
