^triple. Seems the like sport i might be a tad soft, but the everyone keeps mentioning r comps when they talk about the clubsports so maybe its all relative.

My other choice is Feal but I have heard they are a tad firm for DD

Looks like I am out of the STX game this year, moving on to other things. I might bum some codrives this year for a few events though.

Anyone have some feedback on Nitto nt05?

What kind of sidewall do they have and how do they perform?

No. Just buy the mainstream tires and don't reinvent the wheel

Is Double Adjustable that much of a benefit though? At least a noticeable benefit? I did some digging, and it looks like the RCE T2 is the better option when compared to the v3's, but it seems like the MCS/JRZ options are a step above. Do we know what the top guys at the ProSolo Nationals were running?

Not sure about the Yanase/OBlenes car, but I'm pretty sure Ricky Crow was in Annie Gill's car, which was on KW v3s with non-standard springs.

Those guys are running RSR Single Adjustables. Their car is local to me, so I have learned a lot from those guys. But Max Hayter's car was MCS. So from what it sounds like, going with the MCS setup or someone similar (JRZ, etc.) wouldn't be a big step up and lay down better times. Good driver + good coilovers > not quite as good driver + slightly better coilovers.

Thanks for your input.

But if I can buy a 200 tw tire for $155 each at my local wal-mart and not have to deal with shipping to a tire shop and all the fees associated with it.

I'd like to know how they perform before writing them off.

Good to know, sounds like there's several different setups out there that work well.

If you go to discount tire they will order anything you want from tire rack.

Thanks again. I'll thinking about adding a step to the entire tire purchasing process next time I do it :p

To be honest, MCS singles, to me, are too expensive for what you get. I currently have MCS remote doubles and I do adjust both rebound and compression at every event. That said, I mostly adjust between the street setting and autocross setting, which was the main reason I got the doubles. Since my car is doing dual duty, I wanted shocks with enough range. It's also good to have another tool at your disposal, if you need to optimize between all these different surfaces we autocross on.

V3's / RCE T2's are to me a better value than the MCS singles.
