This thread has deviated....

PradiG's initial post was telling us that other guys dislike us.

Then, it lead to people defending the meet, and other people sharing how they feel about the meet (example: its an impromptu car show with ego strutting)

then, PradiG shared his experience of the meet (which made people more defensive. Also, i dont see how 1 negative experience made everyone so defensive. 1 Negative experience vs Countless positive ones... Everyone will always have different things to say about something)

Which lead to people critiquing PradiG's experience. Yes i agree with DSOmegaX, but his experience wasnt the initial problem we were discussing, although it was a good retort.

To get back on track: Miata guys / UCI guys arent fond of us. Sometimes, we have to look at the other persons point of view as well, to understand both sides. There are always two sides to every story. While everyone is defending the meet, saying we're all good guys, yes we are but thats our opinion of our selves. Right? Shouldn't we try to see things from their point of view? Unless we want to say screw it, we dont care about them, but wouldnt that make us "bad guys" which would be ironic? lol

Exactly, this was a call to a bias view of uci/miata guys. Perspective is relative and all people are entitled to their opinions.

I get that. And by the way. Never thought you were attacking the meet. Just reporting what you heard and what you went through.

It sucks that you experienced that. But there's a couple of us trying to make it as inviting and friendly of a meet as possible. Not because we need to. But because we just like hanging around with people at these types of meets. It's fun for me!
