STI >>> WRX

and you can't swap your tranny in STX/U

and gear ratios? they've always been different in the past (ie, more favorable in the STi) not sure about 2015 models.

I think that sticking the current WRX into STX is just them being lazy with classing. The new WRX in STX is not going to change anything really in terms of the twins being competitive in STX, the twins are already "not the car to have" in STX, but I do feel that it would be equally competitive in STU.

Still a lot lighter and better in many ways. Can't defeat physics.

Its the popular car in STX now, however I defenitely do not think it out performs any other car in STX.

For instance, rx8s are still very much a contender at any national event.

FYI: Keep an eye on the @Maximal Performance black Friday page, it will be updated with the parts up till Thursday and pricing will be released Thursday/Friday. I know the guy who is helping pick the products on sale this year and he MAYYYYY just have a bias towards CS/STX parts

Hint: people will be planning their BF money spending ahead of time so keep that in that mind about holding onto pricing until last minute

Looks like STX got the biggest bump in PAX this year. Relative to AM the increase was .006 where all other classes other than SMF, FM, and FSP went down.

I don't really get the 2015 WRX in STX with the other cars in STU. At a Pro I think it will be unbeatable, normal course probably not so much.

I bet to differ, coming from the e36 that was competitive all year long.
