Hm, if I had them I'd keep'em. I'd prefer silver ones though. For some reason I thought they were 18"...

i think i while ago i wrote i was going to get 18s but ended with the 17 to fit the stock tires, then needed some cash and i sold them lol besides i think ill keep my stock rims for winter tires then get 18" TSW nurburgring's for the summer...assuming i have enough money for that and moving and my wife needing a new car...

I really wish I lived closer to more 86 owners it is just to hard to make the hour drive on a work night. Also is anyone else running coil overs? These roads are giving my bump stops a work out. Wondering if anyone had any advise to what they do to combat these uneven roads with their coil overs?

Welcome to Michigan? Go with stock tire sizes and raise your car back up a little?

This deffinitly wasn't an issue in az with dead smooth roads. I spent a lot of time tunning the suspension on this thing and preparing it to be a fun only car... well my daily driver needs some work so I'm stuck with the fr-s daily until I get the legacy back on the road. my suspension is fully adjustable so raising it won't change the travel and it will still hit the bump stops. Just didn't know if anyone was using top hats to get an extra inch or 2 of travel and if it was working.

Travel an ride height is one thing but if you are running super stiff springs and very stuff damper settings there is only so much it will help... Michigan may be the motor city, but this place treats its vehicles like they are all in a literal automotive hell. Between poor road quality and enough road salt in the winter to rival the salinity of the Dead Sea, performance cars are unfortunately not as dual purpose as they are elsewhere in the US.

Yeah I had plans on just making my fr-s my second car the was going to be taken out on roads I know are good. The motor in the legacy taking a crap has been a big set back with my super charger and brakes still sitting in boxes because I have to get the daily beater on the road. I might have robispec send me some top hats they worked wonders on my buddies car and Robi makes some really nice stuff.

Just got my car back from the dealership.
Fuel pump number 3 is currently not chirping. Hopefully this one lasts a little bit longer.

Need some rain to test if the squealing window is fixed.
Need a bit of time to see if the idle is more stable.

Rear deck is still popping and ticking, rattle from steering column is still present.

It is so nice not be driving a Toyota Avalon anymore!

I just fixed a clunking sway bar link that I didn't torque down all the way when I installed my koni's, then realized my back seat wasn't latching all the way, so fixed that, took the car up and down my street (which is an abysmal patch laden crater fest) and I just heard the steering column rattle for the first time... Sometimes, I wish I lived in Ohio.

Then I realize what I just said and I

I keep seeing a white fr-s from Texas with no front emblem. Anyone here or does anyone know who it is?
