Story of my life. Trying to be helpful but they just give me the finger. Guess it's the same reason why they don't have their lights on when you try to tell them, they already think they have their lights on so it's pointless.

I need to get a programmable LED screen on my car so I can express myself properly while driving

Bonus no hood scoop with FMIC:

I actually don't mind no-wing STIs, unless they keep that roof winglet, which is dumb. The whole purpose of those is to funnel air into the wing! I actually considered getting the "STI limited" that comes with the lip spoiler a while back. A little more "grown-up" but then I realized that's not my style...

I actually don't mind the no hood scoop with the FMIC, but then it just looks like a tuned 2.5 impreza lol

I'd take an R34 GT-R no matter what, OEM spoiler, no spoiler, picnic table...lol.

STi on the other hand, no spoiler, but a subtle, small trunk lip is what I like. Same with the EVO.

Yeah, overly bright DRLs don't help. My 2005 Legacy GT was like that. But when you've got people driving in the darkness and they don't even have DRLs ...

I don't know if they have ever changed this but the 2.5 hoods (steel) used to be way heavier than the WRX/STi hoods (aluminum). When I had my Bugeye WRX the first time I popped the hood on a friend's 2.5RS was shocking.

That's correct. The WRX came with a lighter aluminum hood, I'm guessing to offset the weight of the top mount intercooler. The 2.5RS was technically an economy car, so it was built to price (steel cheaper than aluminum)

My theory on why they run without the headlights ... it's not the DRLs, it's the illuminated dashboards that all newer cars have. If they're driving at night and they can see their gauges lit up, they assume their lights are on. If cars still had gauges that didn't light up until you turn on your headlights, these people would realize it and turn them on.

I've been thinking about this too. There's an autoxer who has owned two AMG's since I've met him, I've ridden in both and they blew my mind and made me totally rethink my philosophy on cars, I had no idea something >3,500 lbs could fuckin' dance.

Realistic goal:
E36 M3/4/5 in Techno Violet

or an AMG wagon, I'd love to have a classy drift wagon
An M5 wagon would be perfect but they never sold them here, there's a couple E34 M5 wagons stateside but they're so far out of my price range

There's also the Lexus IS300, great suspension, NA 2JZ, almost always under $10k at this point unless you try to find a hatch. Basically a Japanese USDM E36 with better suspension.

Also it's "Alfa Romeo" you philistine.
