The PF01 in 17x8 comes in two options with the 5x100 bolt pattern, which is what you want for the FRS. There's a +35 inset (or offset) and a +45 inset (or offset). I think either of these MIGHT work. Correct me if I'm wrong, but the +35 will stick out further toward the fender and the +45 will stick in closer to the suspension. So the issue is going to be fender clearance/suspension clearance. If they both clear, it will be a question of looks. It does look like the PF01 comes with a bore diameter of 75, and I THINK the stock one on the FRS is 56. But this can be remedied with some bore adapters (hub centric rings).
Stock offset is +48, if I remember correctly; the TRD JDM wheel options are +46, of course neither of those are 8in wide, so Im not sure how it all effects it.

The trds are +46 offset but are 7.5 wide so theyll poke OUT 8-9mm more than stock

A 8" +45 will poke another 7-8mm then the trds and the +35 another 17-18 mm

I know, really want the Kei's!

So far the online wheel retailers here in the UK are offering a VERY limited selection to fit the GT86/BRZ.

Its pretty much the Fox's or some OZ Alleggerita's at double the price.

I was actually leaning towards those, the Varsstoen 2.2.1, polished or powdercoated gold, I don't think I want 19's, pretty big. I contacted them and they don't have a set fitment yet, they said they would look into it when the car was released and if there is demand. Reps schmeps. I think they look good. They have the same profile of the 19" TE37's.

9 inch wide wheels? You are really gonna have to fling that thing to get it to break loose. Just be aware with that much grip you will change the personality of the car. Would probably look cool (if it fits, wondering about the offset...) but that is probably too much rubber for this car.

My bad i meant to put 18x8
But these wheel would just be for around town since there are no Curved roads near me. And then just switch them if i was going to the track or going out for a drive.

I found these nice forged wheels that are made with high quality given their advanced processing techniques and reputation. At just a shade over 200 a piece I must say these wheels are great looking. They make these wheels for this car I would imagine too being it advertised as 100-120 x 5 lug pattern. I also notice they specialize in staggard fits which they can perform on any of their wheels. I think. Check em out f*ck the 500 dollar a wheel for a forged alum wheel of a cast wheel thats virually the same cost.
