Is it typical for the ETA to move up like that? With no indication that it's been built I sorta doubt it's getting delivered next month lol
I ordered mine a month after yours and my dealer told me March from their regular update with me this week. January would be nice though!

I ordered December 4 and was told March though they said it could come earlier.

Haven't heard a peep from the dealer since I left on the 4th. Was going to wait a month before I sent them an email asking for any kind of update.

Ordered an Ignition Red Manual in the limited trim on 9/25 - updating now to say that its slated for a January delivery when I checked earlier this month. No vin yet! Excited as hell for the car as a complement to my STI.

Update- I emailed my salesman this morning (it's been a month since I placed my order) and I asked for two things- my VON and any updates.

Within about 10 minutes, I had a response that gave me my VON and an update that my car is now due in February.

Very exciting.

i got both my '14 brz's from there. after getting normal dealer games at a few other dealers, i actually ended up leaving there with the cars feeling slightly bad for treating them somewhat poorly.

respectable place, wouldn't have any qualms about going back a 3rd time, which has almost never happened in terms of dealership experiences for me.

Very good to know and so far, they've been much better than the other 4 dealerships I tried.

Responsive internet team and very minimal BS when I went in and placed my order. They seem legit although I'll remain wary until all the paperwork is through and I'm driving home in the car

My ETA was January 1, but with the holidays and recent snow my dealer says the trains are backed up. My car is showing as "Shipped Rail". However, he's seeing cars show up before their status is updated to "At Railhead" or "Truck". We will see - any day now!

exactly my experience, and how i approached it. this was back in the days of when truecar actually listed new vehicles dealer costs, and everything they showed me was in-line with what i had been expecting. i didn't haggle, they just grabbed 'the book', showed me what they had into it, what msrp was, and what price they were willing to sell for, which was all within acceptable margins. the salesperson was very upfront and honest that i likely knew more about the car than he did-- he just made the sale, he never forced the sale..

it was also the only subaru dealer that allowed me to test drive a brz without demanding a downpayment (aka: interational subaru or ziegler subaru)...

Just picked up my WR Blue sweetheart yesterday. She gets new shoes at 4 for the winter so I can ride her like she deserves. Well after 1000 miles of us getting to know each other.

She is very well put together, but damn if she isn't a tight fit for my 6 foot 2 frame. I am going to have to make some adjustments for us to be comfortable together.

I think the stereo sounds excellent for how much complaining people have done. I will get the sub when it's offered and that's prob it.

So far I don't care about the fake engine noise but we will see if I still like her voice after the getting to know her period.

I named her Beatriz if anyone cares. Bea or Betty for short. That had been my plan and then my wife found that my favorite actress Salma Hayek played in a movie called Beatriz and that was the deciding factor. And the fact that she told me Betty wasn't short for Beatrice and then found on the net that it is short for the Hispanic version Beatriz which was my plan anyway. It is all working out. I told the wife not to be mad if I start referring to my time with Salma. Ha

My car was ordered on 12/13 and I got an update today from my sales guy. No VON yet, but Subaru is showing port date of 5/14. Kind of a bummer, looks like the March delivery window filled up really fast. Keeping my fingers crossed Subaru is able to make it happen faster!
