We've had a handful of inquiries over the past few years for an automatic version. But due to the larger size of the A/T vs the M/T, It would require re-engineering a completely different overpipe, turbo placement, downpipe and all the other hotside components and brackets. At this time there's just not a real demand, as in 25+ kits, to justify the R&D on an A/T version. |

Going to dyno tonight on both 91/101 octane tunes. Can't wait to see what kind of power I'm putting down at 14.5 PSI (101) on the 2867!

So that is what it will take for you to consider making one?
I'm sure we can get that easy. Quote:

His build thread says Garrett GTX2867R. Not sure of fuel though.

GTX2867R with 7lbs waste gate spring and 70 % duty cycle on the boost solenoid on that dyno pull. |

Here is the 91/101 tune and pull overlay. I instructed the tech to do lower boost on the 91, but according to the chart he did the higher boost setting. I don't know though, I think maybe they mixed up the 3 charts. It's possible, but hard to believe 1.66 degrees more timing added that much power. The 91 octane tune is set to about 9psi where as the 101 I can do upwards of 14 (was 12.7 in the pulls on the dyno).

Yes, very. More so with all of the V2 upgrades and the fact that its easier for installation/maintenance with the smaller turbo.

If I set the solenoid to a higher WG spring number or use stronger spring in my wastegate, I could achieve peak boost much sooner, but I like it this way. Also note this is a 4th gear pull on a dyno starting the pull at 3K. |

See my oil cooler here in front of the condenser. Injectors are highly recommended. A friend of mine tuned with pump gas on stock injectors and was at about 85% duty cycle on the port injectors and the tuner didn't want to take it any further because of this. So he ended up getting new injectors. I'd recommend that too. Pump not needed until you're going far beyond 350whp. |
