Winged Sprint Cars in the valley -

This Saturday is the annual winged sprint car races at the 1/3 mile oval on Ironwood rd south of Baseline. I don't go to a lot of the races there but I do when the winged cars show up. It's a good show and a great time. Bring earplugs! If you've never seen the winged sprinter race you owe it to yourself to check it out!
This Saturday July 6th at 8:00 pm the fastest dirt track cars on the planet
storm the stage at Arizona Speedway. ASCS Winged Sprint Cars turn up the
heat as the hottest wings in town will be flying around the valleys most
exciting 3/8 mile dirt track located just minutes from Mesa. Last time out
Logan Forler had the track dialed in winning the 25 lap main event with
Lance Norick and Lorne Wofford finishing in second and third positions. This
outing Rick Ziehl will see if he can place the 20Z team out front along with
an aggressive field of Winged Sprint car teams.

Along with the Winged Sprints will be the Pure Stocks, Dwarf Cars and
Robert Horne Ford Bombers. Michael Huffman's consistency has left him
holding a 1 point lead over Jody Henderson with last weeks winner Daren
Olney setting 16 points behind.

Dwarf Cars points leader Brian Stehr holds a 5 point lead over Jim Hock
with last weeks winner Ryan Henesey trying to bridge the gap between the top
three positions.

We will wrap up this action packed card of racing with the Robert Horne
Ford Bombers. Points leader Steve Soboski will start in the back of the
field after winning last weeks main event and Toby Wibeto and Don Berner
will jockey for their second and third place points standings at the half
way point.

Racing action begins at 8:00pm sharpe. Cost of admission $15 adults, $12
seniors, $5 kids 7-11 and kids 6 and under are free.

More info at www.ArizonaSpeedway.net or follow us at
www.Facebook.com/ArizonaSpeedway .

Arizona Speedway is located just minutes from Mesa. 4 miles south of US 60
on Ironwood Dr. . From Phoenix take US60 East to Ironwood Dr., turn right
(south) we are down 4 miles on the left hand side.

Mudbogs and Sand Drags Saturday July 20th. .

Yeah, $60 isn't bad. DT loves to upcharge for a bunch of shit - disposal, "TPMS rebuild," blah, blah, blah. I never buy from TireRack, mainly because they had a Warehouse in Connecticut so I would've been charged tax+shipping...

I'd suggest an orbital sander, and then put some grip tape on the places you rest your feet, that plate gets super slippery once it's sanded down.

There have been a bunch of FRS/BRZ projects to go through LM:

Christian's custom/borla axle-back exhaust
Jeffsides' custom cat-back exhaust
My custom factory fit midpipe (2.5", non resonated)
FRS/BRZ heel plates
Jeffsides' carbon vinyl bits
My full FRS wrap (firestorm to gloss yellow with satin black)
ongoing development of new FRS/BRZ fender vents (functional or not)

Not sure. It was almkst 4 years ago. All I know is he saved something like 80 per tire. Pretty sure they just look it up online now.

the only problem I have is with anyone at costco touching my car, balancing my tires, and mounting my wheels. Ok so thats more than just one problem... but whatever.

When I have used Discount in the past. They would match TireRacks price + shipping, since they knew I would need to have them shipped. I never really pushed for more, I thought that was fair.

I pretty much just order directly through TireRack now. But, I do check to make sure the prices are close.

I always wanted to sneak my car on the track after the sprints run. They really smooth out the track after they run.
