Going to put the factory OP/DP back on this weekend but leave JDL headers installed and see if it helps. Plan to Dyno with JDL pipes and with OEM... I'll share results.

Video below. The sigh at the end is because I love the sound, but know I have to take part off because it's just too loud. I have 3" Perrin cat-back exhaust btw.

Wanted to provide an update... Had the shop remove the 3" OP/DP and put the OEM pipes back on. Additionally, they did some more troubleshooting and found that it wasn't the OP hitting the swaybar which created the rattle, but instead the UEL headers were hitting the metal skid plate. They fixed it by adding a few washers as spacers, but I want to bring this to JDL's attention as I'm not sure if I am the only one who has experienced this (I'm not sure how many catted UEL headers have been shipped at this point).

Putting on the OEM OP/DP has reduced the noise level quite a bit... Cold start is still pretty loud, but not too bad. Additionally, with the UEL headers installed, highway drone has actually been reduced compared to OEM... an unexpected but much appreciated benefit. Cold start Video with catted UEL headers and OEM OP/DP below. Note that you can hear cold start idle at beginning, a little revving through the middle, and the idle after cold-start ends at the end of the video.

I'm also attaching the dyno results below. The test was completed with the following mods:
-K&N drop-in replacement air filter
-Unichip - set with 91 octane, drop in air filter, all cat-back, all headers tune
-JDL catted UEL headers
-OEM OP/DP
-Perrin 3" cat-back exhaust
Note that this was completed on a Mustang dyno, which provides conservative results - there are factors for rolling resistance built in.

Any questions let me know. With the exception of the rattling against the skid-plate (which has been corrected with spacers), I'm very happy with the purchase.

Thank you for the feedback. I will look into the skid pan issue and shoot you a PM. The local cars we did installs on didnt have that issues but there is a chance runners may have moved slightly.

Welp, I bit the bullet and got the catted 2.5" front pipe since the 15% sale is going. I'll be trading it out with the Invidia one like I always wanted to in the first place.

You will love it. I just installed my UEL and Overpipe and am waiting for the front pipe to come in (we had a mixup on transmission so I received the wrong front pipe). Their stuff is top notch and the UEL really wakes up the car and it sounds awesome, like it should have from factory.

After seeing their shop in person, I can assure you it doesn't get any more high quality than this. These guys work very hard, but they are a very small operation. Be patient with them and build times / materials. Its well worth it in the end.

Very happy to have my entire front half exhaust JDL soon.

I'm thinking about getting the UEL headers, not satisfied with my ft86sf UEL.

I originally ordered FT86SF. But after seeing the amount of R&D and quality of JDL, I went ahead and changed. I have no regrets. The headers are top notch quality. JDL headers coupled with Delicious Tune is just amazing.

UEL and a Tune is gonna be a pain. No one local I trust tuning my car. More $$$ that I really wanted to spend on a header.
