^^Or keep the tC for a bit til you know for sure which one you want. Let #87 in line get bumped to #86. The FR-S will still be available when you decide.

Thanks!!!

It has been a LONG time since this thread in late 2007, 2008.
Haraguchi-san, who was part of the team of creating the original AE86 was at the head of this team back then, and eventually selected Mr. Tada to head the initial design of the FT86. Then he became the chief engineer as Haraguchi san retired from Toyota during the conceptual stages. I think he did a wonderful job, and long before there was a term called FT86.

The following link is the original thread from way back in 2008, when Haraguchi san and Tada san, along with a team of fresh, young engineers gathered at Starbucks Coffee in Irvine to talk to us.

Next time you're updating the list at front, switch mine back to hot lava please.

It would be interesting to see the color breakdown after the weekend of changes.

Agreed. I got to sit with Fred Aasbo at the Friday dinner. Great guy as well. Just a regular dude doing his thing. Ken and he represent the sport and the brand in a very positive way.

Just in case some of you out there dont know who Moto-P is, and where he comes from -- Ive been following his thread over at 4agclub for quite some time, its definitely worth the read:

http://forums.club4ag.com/zerothread?id=95050&page=1

The passion and the love for this car is off the charts, and if he hadnt got in on the 1st86, I may have just given him my spot, heh.

Of course reading forum posts like that non-stop is doing nothing to calm my excitement for this car. Ive heard a phrase before, 'its just a car' -- but I feel much more than that for the cars I choose to drive. Driving really is a passion, and if Toyota has rediscovered that with Tada-san's help, then I definitely want to be a part of that.
