thanks

This is also why i have a spare set... Mine are just chilling on the desk i have no use for them. IMO its a good time to retrofit. I think the kit was ~300 shipped w/ ballast and everything. Really quite reasonable... Also on the note the lighting width is noticeably wider than OEM. You can see much more in the ditch on the side of the road than before!

I paid $225 with a coupon from a ford forum. Its expired now but they pop up once in a while. Agree with @nelsmar on
best time for a retrofit.

Electric supercharger thread got exciting last night. Dynos are in!

http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?p=1031382

75ft lbs of more torque in the idle dip! Everthing is stock on the car too.

Thing only turns on at WOT. Good for about a minute of boost and can recharge in about 5.

Has the vortech dyno to compare.

Sure would be nice for passing mini vans once in a while

As cool as this sounds I skimmed the pages quickly and saw a price tag of 2200 and thats just a guess considering it costed the company 1800. Not going to lie for a grand or so more the AVO turbo sounds more appealing with more power.

Now if this thing were under 1k that would be a dream.

People were trying to justify it by saying that others spend 1500 on an exhaust and 400 on an intake both give little to no power...first off 1500 on an exhaust!!!! People are crazy to spend that much, i think mine costed 500 shipped.

You guys are awesome. It's not so awesome I have to take the bumper off but it is what it is. I don't remember having access to this piece when it was off, do I have to bake to get to it or is this something I have access to when the lamp is off?

You have to bake the light and pull it apart if its the entire projector.

I think the one off of Thomas would be a good choice, it's closer and convenient!

Super glue? Duct tape? Sounds like it's going to be a hassle to get it fixed correctly but if you just need it to work for a few days until you can get around to fixing it I would just tape it in there.
