Lifetime average over 3 years: 40MPG. Last 6 months in the city proper with short 2-mile trips averaged about 30-35MPG.

80mph interstate trips are about 38MPG (Sweet spot was between 45 and 65mph for much better numbers).

If in the market for a hybrid - CR-Z is definitely a hugely underrated vehicle, especially with a 6spd. It's no sports car, but you can have a hell of a lot more fun in it than in any other hybrid.

So far the FR-S shows 16MPG average

With 11 fill ups so far I'm averaging 26mpg with mostly back road and city driving. But yeah, the CR-Z was much better; I didn't realize it was a hybrid. Hopefully you'll eventually get better mileage than 16mpg in the 86.

16MPG means you drive like you robbed a bank, or your commute seriously sucks. I make the trip from Little 5 up to Cobb Galleria everyday with the 75/85 traffic in the evenings and still get 27MPG.

I didn't buy the thing for the gas mileage, the noise and tail-happy attitude are worth a lot more. My commute is one exist of 400, about 2 miles total, so I don't expect mid-20s, but it's great that long trips won't be painful either.

Really happy to be back in a Scion, and even more happy to get a light RWD every day car.

[Had a tC, xD, xA (indirectly), and Elise as a weekend play toy, FR-S is a good amalgamation of practicality and boatloads of fun]

I'm averaging 32MPG over 30,000+ miles in the FR-S. You must either be either going 10MPH or 100MPH all the time! (Check out my owner's journal for the full breakdown by tank)

Roadtrip on a birthday weekend, seriously considering it. It's only about 2 hours each way for me.

I drive around 50 miles for my daily commute and no matter how I drive it seems to hover around 25 mpg. It's all back roads and I usually hit 10 or so stops/lights along the way.

Pretty much the same as I get in the Legacy.

Talked to my honey and I'm gonna see if I can take a vacation day on Monday. Should not be a problem. We'll book a room for Saturday and Sunday. Will let you know for sure tomorrow.

So where is everyone enjoying the night life on Saturday?
