FLOWMASTER, I got one for my BRZ. It was terrible, the drone at speed was so bad you could not talk to a rider. I cut it up and installed a resonator . That helped but was still a little loud for me. When I call flowmaster their response was WE MAKE THEM LOUD TO BE AMERICAN THUNDER. I said it is not the loud that is bad but the drone inside the cab. Thy simply repeated the response. I asked a guy at the local shop and he put me in touch wit a flow engineer. He said most muffler manufactures will take whatever is on the shelf that fits and bend the pipes to fit and call it a kit. He said go to a specialty brand or one produced by the car manufacturer.
I was lucky enough to get a used TRD much Happier. |
