I don't think you quite realize how much closer Laveen is to Gilbert, compared to North Phoenix / North Glendale. I'd drive about as far as ASU's Tempe campus... which is pretty centrally located to everybody in the Phoenix metro.

EDIT: Besides, I have a house... and a girlfriend... it's hard to convince her of the worth of driving an hour+ to an event she doesn't care about. Half hour? I could swing that, lol.

I didn't hear of anything going on, though that doesn't necessarily mean it didn't happen. I'm new to Phoenix within the past year, and within the past month I've gone back to Connecticut, purchased a house, moved, bought a new car, etc... I've been oblivious.

The Pavillions meets are a bit more centrally located, I wouldnt worry if you cant get all the way out to Gilbert for Coffee Rush, we are always doing something.

I'm married with 3 kids, 3 cats, and a dog. Also with a house. She could care less as well. That's why I go by myself 😳😁😄 lol
