This. They look good because they are good looking cars. The key here is that they would all look much better if they weren't shit brown.

In fairness to many those look spectacular and they would not want any other colour. Tan, beige, off white, etc have been a common colour since the 1920s so somebody must like them.

P.S. I am not one of those somebodies.

Tans and Browns can work, they're like Greens some look nice and elegant, some look like regurgitated babyfood

It's definitely a unique color. A little off-topic, but I think Desert Khaki will look good on a 2016 WRX/STI with gloss black rims and gloss black mirrors.

It all comes down to the nuance, the shade of shi... tan in question.

That Celica in that color is gorgeous and I want one.

Oh, and the Celica there (gorgeous car) would not look good in the RS1 yellow.
That yellow is a modern color for a modern car.
The FR-S is a modern car with modern lines, albeit with some subtle nods to the past, but you can tell it's designed quite recently. And I like it. It's a good looking car.
And it would look so out of character even in the light tan of the Celica.
Because it's an old color for an old car (gorgeous).

It's just that I secretly envied you Americans the yellow RS1.
I openly envy you for the hyper blue BRZ (gorgeous car).
So I'm relieved to realize I won't be frantically googling "ship car container usa norway" when you guys get your RS2. That's all.

That photo is HDR processed and many sliders have been pulled, I can't even tell if the left one is red or lava.

But you get the nice GT86 and we're stuck with the non-hid trim level, or lack of.

Yeah, well, I try not to brag too much about that.
I do love my black GT86, but I would trade it for a RS1 or a hyper blue BRZ.
