I can understand what the OP is trying to do, its actually pretty common practice for people in ottawa to have stuff shipped to ogdenburg to avoid brokerage fee's and then just pay taxes at the border (or try to not pay taxes, because lets be honest, some of you will try not to). Hell i've done this in the past with tires several years ago.
But if the vendor doesn't agree to this practice then you really can't be mad at them and say they gave you poor service. its the right of any business to refuse service to anyone for any reason. I normally think Mav is just a douche but he's 100% right on this and you're the douche. Just because a vendor doesn't have this policy in place doesn't mean they are in the wrong.

I should have locked this one before so it didn't pop back up. Vendor did nothing wrong. Customer us unreasonable about a vendor protecting themselves. Locking this down.
