That article is from 2008. Honda has since killed off that project as far as I know.

That FLAT-6 Idea is actually pretty awesome!

Think about it, Innovative, Sexy-sounding, Performing, and it would be like the FT86's Big brother! it makes perfect sense. Although that would put the price up a bit, but hey, it's Toyota we're talking about, don't under-estimate them!

I would love if they kept the LF-A V10 and just chopped off two cylinders to make it a 3.8l V8. At 60.000 € it would be a bargain.

+1000 for the Flat8. It is one of the most desirable engine ever possible. Unfortunately there were very few in car history. There is a rumor Porsche is working on a 4.8l Flat8 based on the up-coming 2.4l Flat4 for the coming 458 Italia and MP4-12C rival, the 956.
