Any one got caught in the hailstorm last night in Calgary? Mine was safely parked in the garage.

In it for two red lights from the garage that I could not avoid due to traffic! No where to hide! 4 small dings from stones not that big! Should be repairable.
Stones that size would destroy an aluminum hood & trunk lid let alone roof steel!

It will only be a matter of time for everyone, if its not hail, it will be a parking lot dings!


Looks like I was very lucky compared to some others!

When I picked up my car with 30km on the odo, it was raining hard that day just when I exited the dealer's lot. On the way home, couldnt avoid driving thought 2 deep puddles of water. Sure felt I brought a used car when I got home...haha

They said 6-8 Weeks, but they also said the same thing to a mate of mine that got it almost a month ago. and it arrived in 2...

so far its been 4 weeks, hopefully i dont have to wait much longer. Ill give them a call in a day or so, see if the estimate is more accurate .

Yeah, it's brutal in Edmonton to have only 1 dealership in town and then Sherwood park the next closest one. I think they are still squeezing the quantities for E-town. Seems to be pretty hard to get one and dealerships are giving botched ETA's.

I was away for the weekend and mine got completely hammered

Back window smashed in multiple spots, monster dents in the roof and hood... I'm a sad panda. Will post pics and stuff later.

Ouch. Sorry to hear that. Really sucks hearing someone so close from home having that happen. Pretty sketch in our province lately for weather...

Soooooo stumped!

So i ordered a Whiteout FR-S 6MT on July 13th, called today to see if they got any better estimates on when it will be in. Gave me an answer that its not on the current shipment, and will be on the next one.

Asked if they have any unsold coming in on this shipment, from what i caught on they have a silver 6MT, and 2 oranges (Didnt ask what transmission)

I like the silver, but i feel it'll blend in with any other silver car in the streets, and i can have it as soon as within 2 weeks? I put a deposit down already so i can hold it if i decide to take it.

They couldnt give me a guesstimate on my Whiteout ;/ other then the 6-8 weeks when i ordered it on july 13th.

Any input on how long inbetween shipments?

Any thoughts !?!?

I actually bought my BRZ in silver because I figured I'm getting older, I shouldn't be as flashy. But after seeing the silver in real life and considering how many looks I get on the road, I'm pretty sure it doesn't matter what colour you end up getting. This car is just stunning, there isn't a "boring" colour in the whole lot.

I know that doesn't help your decision, but I just wanted to let you know that you'll stand out like a sore thumb wherever you go in whatever colour you decide to go with in the first 6 months of ownership. Good luck!

Yeaa i figured! Ill wait until the silver gets dropped in, take a look in person. I went over some photo's of other argento FRS on the forums and i don't hate the color.
