Only thing I notice is that the car hates humidity. Did stock as well.

These cars suck off the line. Consistency is difficult to find. My friend watched a guy at his local track do 4 runs which ranged from 14 flat to 14.6. Sounds like a healthy na tuned car.

Break the wheels loose with a hard launch and the little bastard shoots right to the shift light. Header and bigger gears to slow wheel spin are next. I will have a 13 second na car if it kills me. Consumer reports killed these cars on reliability. I would suspect mostly small crap. Squids have been complaining to toyota because they run slower with a full tank of gas. Smart.

Weight and friction need to be addressed as well. For a low priced sports car these things attract attention. I've been thinking about cutting air box resonator and rigging garbage ebay esc to blow air in there. Who knows?

so heres my question about the BPBs and e85.
You said there is still a bump in power, but people who primarily use e85 may not like to loss up top usually found with e85. do you still have a gain from the use of e85, but just not as significant up top as it may have been? is the power shifted over so it is felt lower in the rpm range? I've never run e85 before, and I'm running the BPB stage 2 beta tune. if i filled up with e85 and ran the car on the BPB tune would i feel an increase anywhere? would I have to run the stg2 e85 tune and then not have the power from the BPBs? there really hasn't been a clear answer regarding e85 full bolt ons and the power blocks. If there is power gained anywhere and there isn't an actual huge power loss, and maybe just not as much a gain as expected in only the top end, it still seems like e85 would be beneficial, and I may want to try it out, but it seems like I'm stuck in between tune files, as theres nothing even in beta for stage 2 e85 with BPBs. any plans on releasing? |

Just got this setup installed. AWESOME. Running the BPB (which I installed alone in 45 minutes by the way) with the "Beta" stage 1 tune from the website.
@Shiv@Openflash should I be taking data logs and sending them to you, being that it's still in "Beta"?

I've been running power blocks and stage 2 e85 for 800 miles now, including autoX, and I'm driving 4 hours to button willow Saturday and back and so far it's performed flawlessly, and I expect no issues, it feels better than the BPB beta map felt in my opinion

I'm running the BPBs, and e85, at the same time, for over 800 miles, using the stage 2 e85 map, and felt a difference in power over the BPBs on 91 pump gas using the BPB stage 2 beta map
