EPA rates city driving at 21 mpg for the manual, sounds like you're doing pretty good to me.

In my 17 Manual, I'm getting about 28.0 MPG my commute is about 24 miles, 6 being a city, the rest Highway. it goes down to about 27.6 if I'm cutting in and out of traffic, but otherwise with my driving style about 28-28.1 according to the car's screen. When I was working far away in another city with a 50-mile commute and most of it highway I was getting 28.6 avg, with about 3 miles in city. Not bad I guess compared to my daily that prolly gets like 20mpg then again it's a 2001 CRV.

I get around 20-22 mostly city driving other than my five minute commute to work on the highway. If I go out for a drive it gets better around 26-28. It should be noted I'm running 90 octane though but that's what counts for premium here in Alaska. Looked into maybe using octane boosters but they're expensive at around $10 or more a bottle and no online stores will ship here.

Hop on the freeway and set cruise control under 75 mph if you want a 30+ mpg tank, likely nothing wrong with your car it's just the traffic you're stuck in.

that's way too fast. Set the cruise to 5 below the speed limit if you want to get really get gas mileage. I hit 39 when I was moving and drove 1200 miles in 2 days.

What I've noticed is that the second you hit a stop light the mpg starts tanking :/ and just keeps dropping as you stay stuck in the low gears. |

Currently PCSing from FL to AZ, got 1300 miles down. Meter says 33 mpg average.
That would be nice if it wasn't for the rock that a truck kicked off and cracked my windshield. Gonna have it looked at once at new home.

My 2013 with 6 spd has been averaging 31. My last fill up i still managed 30 despite a lot of stop and go morning commute BS traffic. I've been supremely impressed with the efficiency of this little, high compression engine. I've only had about 5 fillups though thus far. I dont redline it very often though i do drive it briskly.

New 2017 86 stick, 1000 miles on it. I have a 48 mile drive to work one way all freeway. I drive around 70 mph or so. Light traffic most of the way ( I leave for work at 5:30 am). The computer in the car has been 26-32 mpg.

Average about 24-26 mpg. I am not shy about stomping the skinny pedal. Equal parts city and highway driving. Manual trans.

Getting 28.6 to now 29.5 I believe the switch from winter blend to summer blend is the cause. Happened this time last year too
