Wow, just looking at the leaked photos (the official reveal is supposed to happen in like 30 minutes at the LA Auto show)....it looks like they completely neutered the concept. The engine specs are sure to raise eyebrows on this forum...it's basically the fa20 engine with a turbo right?

The WRX concept made me step back and think I should wait and see what the final design and specs are going to be. Since I was pitting that against the BRZ. Well lets just say the BRZ has nothing to worry about.

I would pay $34K for a BRZ with that engine and the steering wheel.

it strikes me odd how subaru's implementing this "boomerang" LED light around their future cars... except that there's still those halogen bulb DRLs going on in the WRX unveiling ad. dafuq subaru

Interior looks good...except for the head unit! YIKES! Wonder how the speakers compare to the BRZ's stero...
Love the steering wheel...actually prefer the gauges in the BRZ.

Looks a little bland compared to the more aggressive current edition. But it's not terrible by any stretch. I'll be interested to see pricing on the Limited model. And once reviewers start driving it, to see how the characteristics of the car are.

Cable shifted 6spd, though, not a rod linkage like in the BRZ or the previous WRX & STI.
I'm sure we'll be able to get brz - compatible aftermarket wheels that are just like new WRX's, though. And it looks like they took the BRZ seat design & put it into the WRX. Look at those bolsters. That's brz seating, not the old WRX style. And I bet the WRX limited gets full leather, not just leather/Alcantara (though I really like the Alcantara). Sent from my SCH-I535 using Tapatalk
