Yuppers! I've been meaning to join the forum for a while, but after getting off the call with SOA I had to tell someone :P. I'll update the pre-order thread soon enough.

Is everyone else flooding SOA with calls? I've been on hold for 10 minutes! LOl VON in hand awaiting a VIN!!!! Ahhh!!

Edit: On hold for 20 minutes now. Does everyone have the same idea? LOL

Woohoo!!

based on cwik's post, I also called SOA.

The lady told me that she had not seen that VIN's were available yet, but that she would enter my VON and check anyway. Then she made a surprised gasp and said, "I do have a VIN and ETA for you".

I got VIN # 133
ETA is May 27th.

I'm #1 of 9 at Brunswick Subaru near Cleveland, OH.

So I'm assuming West Coast folks should have deliveries at least a week or two sooner?

It's great to finally have some real info!!!

Now I have to call my sales rep and let him know... lol.. shouldn't that have been the other way around?

Awesome! I hate waiting! How long did you wait on hold? This is killing me...

I have two phones calling at once and its pretty funny to hear the generic wait music in stereo, lol.

WOOHOO!!!
I called and got a VIN, and it's in the low 200's.

(and yes, I did haveto stay on hold for 15 minutes- the guy on the other end told me the phones just started lighting up for some reason, then we chatted about bugeyes for 10 minutes. haha)

I have an ETA of the 18th!!!! WOO!

What was the last 5 of your VON? I'm curious is my dealer actually submitted it on March 1

VON ended in 23771. I'm on the extreme west coast, probably one of the biggest dealers closest to the vancouver port. The only two bigger dealers are farther away.

The 18th.. Damn! Why does it have to take an extra 9 days to get it to Ohio. soooo lame!!!

My VON ends in 23723 and it's still on the wait list. She said to call back in a few weeks.

First order in at the second biggest dealership in Texas -- allocation of 17. Order was submitted on March 1st at 9:30AM CST.

I wouldn't stress about it. They probably have some hourly employees matching VINs to VONs in the computer system. They probably just haven't gotten to your file yet. Try them again tomorrow.. or wait another day or two and I bet your dealer will have the info as well.
