Oddly the new feature pictures show no trunk release on the key, just an indentation where it would have been.

In some pictures the Tach is white (uggh) and in some its not (not so uggh). Anyone know which one it really is?

Also, can't belive the hand brake doesn't have the red stitching on it. What were they thinking?

^ It's white but only appears as such in daylight apparently - this was demonstrated in photos on some other thread.

Honestly, all the people complaining about the radio being ugly have got their priorities completely wrong. This car is not about in car entertainment from the sound system!! It's about driving the damn thing.

I for one am happy with the stock system. Seems simple to use and thats all I really care about. I couldn't care less what it looks like.

On my list of top 100 priorities for this car, what the radio looks like is number 101!

In other words some don't care that it's an ugly system in a $25k car. This car should have a better looking stock system.

The Bespoke will do.

Not everybody is going to track this car. Some people are going to be stuck in traffic everyday and want a nice system to play around with.

That's me! It's going to be my daily driver. But I really don't need something fancy as much as I need something which simply works.

Again, I simply couldn't care less. If you really want a fancy pants stereo, just buy an aftermarket one. The fact that they put an ugly stereo into a car ment for driving just proves to me that they had their priorities straight when designing this car.

In my opinion, the Bespoke system isn't any better. Being able to post to twitter or facebook inside of a car which you're really supposed to be "driving" is stupid in my opinion. Kinda goes completely against the grain.

Again, forget all this nonsense about "for 25K the stereo should look better" crap and focus on what this car does best. Please don't tell me your buying this car or not buying it simply because of the stereo.

Ah no, I never said that. Even the base stereo has voice control but the FR-S should have gotten something better considering we are paying $25k.

If you read up on the bespoke it is more than about posting on twitter and facebook, it integrates with your smart phone so that that you have apps running on the cloud using Zypr. So you have Navigation and just about anything you would want when using it. Plus it looked better than the stock ugly looking system.

Hey but each their own. Scion had to cut corners somewhere to get to their price point. Maybe the bespoke is only a $200 option. It's only a deck since the voice control system is already built into the car. So it should be an easy port upgrade install.

Exactly, BeSpoke is going to be shit compared to a nice aftermarket deck. The greatest thing they did in relation to the radio is not integrating half the car controls into the moulding for the radio (Honda I'm looking at you) making to nearly impossible to replace.

Though I can't believe they'd pork the weight up with a first aid kit, come on scion I thought this was a driftuuu dream and you're going to waste precious ounces on a first aid kit.

I still disagree with you on the whole idea that for 25K "we should have got something better".

You're simply looking at the stereo and the price and throwing the whole idea of this car out the window.

For 25K your getting Cayman, Mustang, and Genesis like performance but in a better overall package (just my opinion). It was designed with driving in mind, not for playing with or staring at the stereo. Bespoke is also sort of a joke for this car, but I do understand Scion is trying to put it into all cars so why not their halo car.

Forget the stupid stereo. For 25K your getting an awesome driving car. That's what it was designed for. Asking for more is silly because it was never designed to be more. The way the stereo looks should have nothing to do with if you want to buy this car or not. It's not in the Mantra for the car and quite frankly, I'm happy that they stayed true to the design philosophy.

I am not trying to argue with you bro. I understand where you are coming from.

Dude I never said I was throwing the whole idea of this car out the window. Why are you bringing up Cayman, Mustang, and Genesis performance? The FR-S is not in the same league as these cars. People keep trying to compare this car to others and they can't. It's a unique car.

Everywhere else you get a better stereo...the BRZ has a nice looking navigation standard, in Europe in the GT86 you get a better looking stock system. Only in America do we get a crappy looking stock system. They could have done better. But it is what it is...

If they were serious, Scion would have a stereo delete option...but at least the bespoke will be an option and the aftermarket will have some good choices too. The overall interior of the FR-S turned out nice...

I am disapointed that Bespoke is not standard.

I think Scion/Toyota should have been able to do a bit more at the price point. Either Bespoke or HID standard or even nice LED DRL.

Still going to get the car and enjoy it, but sometimes it is the simple things that can make the difference between hearty endorsement and just a tinge of "cheap bastards".
