Okay, just made a road trip from the Dallas area to Branson, Missouri this Labor Day weekend. Calculated the MPG over several different legs of the trip including some (extremely) "spirited" driving through the Ozarks (signs every 1/4 mile said "very crooked and steep"). Put over 1,000 miles on the car from Friday to Monday and averaged over 30 MPG for the weekend. Any interstate driving, including passing of people who had no concept of the speed limit were in the vicinity of 34 MPG. Playtime in the mountains and on some serious twisties was closer to 26-27. Hella fun, though!

Since the subject was brought up, I'm staying at 21ish MPG with 100% short city trip driving over at least the last 6 or 7 fillups.

I am getting 11.2L/100km (around exactly 21 MPG) with heavy city driving.

50/50 split and spirited driving I see 28-31 MPG. UEL header, OFT and other small mods.

225F/255R tires as well.

Always 93 octane from a local Shell station.

I have a mixture of freeway driving, city driving, and spirited driving. I average around 27-30 with those 3 mixtures.
I once did a 150 mile trip and got 38mpg all on the highway, doing anywhere between 70 and 80 mph.

Seems like every time I update my fuel use log in the OP in my Owner's Journal (see sig for link) one of these threads gets updated...

Right now, over 68,562 miles, I'm averaging 32.69 MPG. That's with zero attention paid to driving style.

I filled the tank 202 times. Some Factoids on those fillups.

...................MAX.....MIN.....AVG
Fuel/Gallons.....11.87....4.34...10.43
Price Per Gallon.$4.25...$2.26...$3.42
MPG..............36.66...27.60...32.69

Average Fuel Cost Per Mile has been $0.10 over the life of the car.

I have saved enough in fuel costs since purchasing the car over my previous DD ($5,051) to almost pay for a supercharger.

My Fuelly signature says it all. I'm quite happy with my fuel mileage...considerably better than my xB. Because, aerodynamics (at least somewhat).
